The check-in time is at 3pm. Early check-in is possible at additional cost by prior arrangement and is subject to availability. In the interests of security and to prevent fraud, guests are required to confirm their identity by providing their valid government issued photo identification (State driver’s license, passport, etc.) at check-in.
We require valid contact information from the guest making the reservations including first and last name, address, phone number, and signature. The names of all guests occupying the room must be registered.
Guests will receive a text message with door codes on the day of arrival. Please make sure that the registered mobile number and country code is correct. Guests who plan to arrive after 6 PM must contact the property in advance.
Room rental period expires at 12:00 a.m. Additional day charge may apply for late checkout. Please check-out with Front Desk so that housekeeping may begin cleaning your room as soon as possible. If you require a later check-out, please contact Front Desk prior to the day of your departure and we will do our best to accommodate your request. A charge may apply for late check-out (5 €/ hour ) .
All reservations and registration must be guaranteed with a valid major credit card. We accept Visa, Master Card. Pursuant to credit card agreements, credit cards are not valid unless signed by the cardholder. Credit cards must be signed. Cash (EUR) payment is welcomed. Checks and foreign currency not accepted.
Reservations will be held until 23:00 p.m. If you have not checked in by that time, a NO-SHOW charge of one room night, plus tax will be charged to your credit card and the balance of your reservations will be cancelled.Please let us know if your arrival is after 23:00 pm by calling: +372 5562 2818.
Guests can contact the hotel by email or phone to request other payment conditions. The hotel reserves the right to accept or decline such conditions. Without prejudice to any conditions expressly agreed by the Guest and the Hotel, the Hotel reserves the right to collect an advance payment from the guest.
Guests have the right to cancel the reservation 3 days prior to arrival, by informing the hotel in writing. After this time, the prepayment is not refundable.

Well behaved children of all ages are welcomed. Children aged 3 and under stay for free when sharing a room with one or more paying adult(s). As the parents, guardians, or chaperones of children you are personally and legally responsible for and must supervise them at all times. For safety reasons, please do not leave children unattended in guest rooms or allow them to roam the hotel property unsupervised.

Our buffet Breakfast is for registered guests only. Visitors may not join a registered guest for a free breakfast. Visitors are required to pay the fee of Breakfast at the Front Desk, to get allowed for breakfast in the breakfast area.

The Hotel has only non-smoking rooms. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas of the Hotel. There will be a 65 euros fee for thorough cleaning services charged to any non-smoking room that has been smoked in to restore it back to its original condition.
We are happy to greet our guests with their furry friends in our hotel.Pets are not allowed to the breakfast room. Cats/dogs are should be kept on a leash when on hotel territory. The hotel will have the right to ask the owner to put a muzzle on their pet if needed. The owner is also responsible for the cleanliness of hotel territory. The owner has to guarantee that their pet does not disturb other visitors so that all the visitors would have a great vacation.Have enough time for arrival so that Your pet could have a walk outside. Take Your pet’s bed and food/drink bowls with You Your pet’s own favourite toy will help the pet to feel more comfortable in the unfamiliar environment Do not leave Your pet alone to the hotel room for a long time. If You have to leave Your pet alone in the room, please make sure that Your pet does not get out of the room. Put a sign „Do not disturb“ on Your door so that the housekeeping knows about it as well.Accommodation with Your pet is 20 EUR. extra per night. The price includes accommodation for the pet together with its owner in one room. The room fits 2 pet maximum. Parking for registered guest(s) is free. All vehicles are parked at the risk of the owner. Hotel Tammsaare shall not assume liability or responsibility for any vehicle, occupants, or contents while operated or parked on the hotel property. If a vehicle is left in the hotel parking lot after the guest has departed without the written consent of the hotel, the hotel reserves the right to have the vehicle towed at the owner’s expense. No vehicle repairs on hotel premises.
To ensure all guests enjoy the comfort and safety of the facilities we offer, the Hotel upholds a strict zero tolerance policy towards commotion, excessive noise and parties. Any person found to be on our premises creating excessive noise, having a party, exceeding the numbers of permitted guests or otherwise causing a disturbance will be requested to leave the hotel without refund. Should any action by a guest, may it be towards our staff or otherwise, be deemed inappropriate by the Hotel, or if any inappropriate behaviour is brought to attention, the Hotel reserves the right, after the allegations have been investigated, to take action against the guest which may result in, but not limited to, being asked to leave without a refund for any services incurred.
11:00 p.m. to 6 a.m. If you become aware of a disruptive guest, please contact Front Desk staff immediately. Televisions, voices, or other devices must be kept at a respectful low level at all times. Doors should be opened and closed quietly. No congregating or running in halls.
DAMAGE AND/OR THEFT OF HOTEL PROPERTY
You are liable for any damage howsoever caused (whether by the deliberate, negligent, or reckless act) to the room (s), hotel’s premises or property caused by you or any person in your party whether or not staying at the hotel during your stay. Hotel Tammsaare reserves the right to retain your credit card and/or debit card details as presented at registration and charge or debit the credit /debit card such amounts as it shall in its sole discretion deem necessary to compensate or make good the cost or expenses incurred or suffered by Hotel Tammsaare as a result of the aforesaid. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right and you hereby authorize us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room or the Hotel property during your stay, including and without limitation for all property damage, missing or damaged items, smoking fee, cleaning fee, guest compensation, etc. We will make every effort to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialist to make the repairs, and therefore will make every effort to keep any costs that the guest would incur to a minimum. Guest Rooms found with waste strewn around, in complete disorder, and/or “trashed” will be subject to maintenance deep cleaning fee, administration fee and/or third party fees. Damage to rooms, fixtures, furnishing and equipment including the removal of electronic equipment, towels, art work, etc. will be charge at 120% of full and new replacement value plus any shipping and handling charges. Any damage to hotel property, whether accidental or willful, is the responsibility of the registered guest for each particular room. Any costs associated with repairs and/or replacement will be charged to the credit card of the registered guest. In extreme cases, criminal charges will be pursued.Damage to mattresses and linen including; towels, mattress pads, sheets, bedspreads, blankets resulting from the use of body oils, make-up, shoe-polish, etc. will result in a charge for the special cleaning, repair or replacement of the damaged article. Hotel Tammsaare reserve the right to take action against any guest or visitor found to have tampered or interfered with any detection equipment throughout the hotel, including detector heads in public areas, guest rooms, break glass points and fire extinguishers. Guests or visitors found to have tampered with any fire detection or fire-fighting equipment will be charged with any costs incurred by the hotel due to their actions and will be evicted from the hotel. Depending on the severity of the guest actions, law enforcement may become involved at the hotel’s discretion. Should the fact that fire-fighting or detection equipment had been tampered with come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right and you hereby authorize us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room or the Hotel property during your stay, including and without limitation for all property damage, missing or damaged items, smoking fee, cleaning fee, guest compensation, etc.
Lost & found Policy
The Tammsaare Hotel assumes no liability for lost, misplaced, stolen, or damaged valuables or belongings. If you discover that you have left behind something of value to you, please call us immediately and we will try to assist you in locating your lost item.The Tammsaare Hotel is not responsible for any item left behind by a guest. However, any item, with the exception of perishable items, left behind by our guests and found after departure by Housekeeping will be collected, logged in, and kept in a secure location for collection by the owner for up to fourteen (14) days. We would be happy to return your lost item(s) to you by Post.Your credit card will be charged packaging and postage. A separate receipt will be mailed to you. The Tammsaare Hotel is not responsible for any item lost or misdirected during shipment by the Postal Service.
We will make every effort to honor special requests such as a specific floor or room number, roll-away beds, etc. upon your arrival. All special requests are noted on reservations and we will do our best to accommodate. However, the availability of these items cannot be guaranteed in advance.
